Perni Krishnamurthy Wikipedia, Wiki, Biography, Date of Birth, Age, Number: Perni Venkataramaiah Krishnamurthy, popularly known as Perni Kittu, has been a prominent figure in Andhra Pradesh politics for several years. He has a strong grassroots connection and is considered a close aide of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Perni Krishnamurthy who is popularly known as Perni Kittu was born on 4 June 1992. He is 31 years young gun. He is the son of the former transport minister of the Andra Pradesh Government, Mr. Perni Nani.

As Perni Nani is a busy politician, his son Perni Krishna Murthy was raised in different places away from the native Machilipatnam. After schooling, he was sent to Vijayawada for his Intermediate education, and post he had to join the Engineering college in Bhimavaram.

Perni Krishna Murthy’s grandfather also served as Minister in the United Andhra Pradesh Cabinet of N. Janardhan Reddy. Perni Nani named his son Perni Krishna Murthy after his Father Perni Krishna Murthy who was a known Congress figure in Krishna district in the late 80s.

For the first time, he stood for Machilipatnam Vidha Sabha elections in 1983 against the Borra Venkataswami(IND) candidate. where he faced defeat & able to only secure a 23% vote share. He got a total of 17,757 votes.

Again in 1989, he got the ticket from INC against Nadakuditi Narasimha Rao (TDP) candidate. This time he won the elections by holding 53% of hold in votes. He got a total of 51,952 votes. and the opponent got 44,049 votes.

In 1994 Perni Krishnamurty(INC) stood for Vidhan Sabha from Machilipatnam against Ambati Brahmanaiah (TDP). Where he faced defeat by 36% vote share. He got 37,023 votes and his opponent Ambati Brahmanaiah got 53,301 votes.

Dropped Plan of Higher Education

Perni Krishnamurthy had a plan to pursue a master’s from the United States of America like every other B.tech graduate in India. He applied for a college in the US and was supposed to pay the Fee in March 2020.

That is when the Lockdown was announced and all the plans were postponed for some days. However, the Lockdown conditions made him realize that his need is in the country and in his father’s constituency but not in the United States.
